I've recently encountered a very good resource for introducting educators to very current Web activities (e.g. wikis, blogs, podcasting, etc.). It's a free download in PDF form. Terry Freedman is the editor; the title is "Coming of Age: An Introduction to the New World Wide Web".
I'm going to experiment with using it as a supplementary text in my telecommunications class this summer.
