Hands-on Podcasting workshop using Windows products

From a Campus Mail Bag announcement:
Podcasting in education has been a very hot topic in the news lately. Although the primary focus is course content (e.g. Live lectures, supplementary course materials, etc), there are other areas in the university where podcasting can be used to effectively promote CSU to prospective students, current students, parents, alumni, and the Cleveland community in general.

The IS&T Training group will be offering a hands-on podcasting workshop using Windows products on Thursday, April 20 from noon-2:00 p.m. in RT 414. In the workshop, we will cover all of the essential steps in producing and distributing a simple Podcast. If all goes well, you will leave the session having actually created, published, and tested a podcast series of at least two separate entries which will be fully available on the Internet to any interested parties. We hope that this session will provide the foundation for future workshops covering more sophisticated podcasting concepts.

We have a limited number of seats available. Please call x9626 (875-9626) or email training@csuohio.edu to register. If you have questions regarding this workshop, please contact Rowen Garcia at ext. 9993 (875-9993) or via email at r.d.garcia31@csuohio.edu.
